The qualifying round is made up of nine groups of five or six teams. The group winners and runner-up with the best record against the top five in their group qualify for the finals.   The remaining eight second-placed teams go into the play-offs but that shouldn't worry us as we will win the group!.  Click here for the full rules of the competition - scroll to section 7 for details of how the best second placed team from all the groups is worked out.  The first leg of the play-offs are scheduled to take place on the 11th or 12th of November with the return legs on the 15th.
